Video Studio — production floor
VideoCreate plans, the studio makes — now for video. The 5-stage Video Studio (Brief → Config → Clip planning → Per-clip → Export) becomes one screen: clips seeded from the planner’s script in a left rail, a per-clip workbench in the middle, a live takes wall on the right, deliver always in reach. Sibling of the image + carousel floor. Light app theme · clickable. No caching — refresh for latest.
Floor, not stages
One screen replaces the 5-stage chrome. Everything the stages asked is either inherited from the planner (recap strip) or lives on the floor — including the resume-safe job polling video never got.
Clips are seeded, not asked
On entry the script’s beats are split deterministically across the model cap (40s ÷ 15s → 3 clips) — instant rail, no AI wait. AI re-plan is the set-level action when the cut isn’t working; take-bearing clips are preserved.
Prompt-first, details collapsed
The workbench leads with the composed clip prompt (+ refine history), ingredients, model and audio. Shots, narration and AI research fold into a Clip details expander — per-clip fixes, not the main path.
Audio is a row, not a stage
Per-clip VO: text seeds from the narration beat, the brand voice rides in from the plan, one ElevenLabs call. Embed routing is automatic — into the clip on Seedance, overlay at assembly elsewhere. Plus the missing key card in Connections.
The kit reaches video
The Brand Style Kit chip rides the recap strip (with the request’s deviation note) and the kit’s compiled prompt block now threads into every clip’s composed prompt — closing the video styleRef gap.
Stitching deferred, seam polished
Single clip delivers directly. Multi-clip gets a tidy assemble-externally flow: ordered downloads → upload final → deliver. Picks, order and audio routing are stored stitch-ready for the future composer.

Generating a clip
Running ticker (model · elapsed · progress · cancel) with the “resumes even if you leave” promise, a pulsing rail dot on the live clip, skeleton tile where the take lands, a surfaced skipped-ingredient warning, workbench locked for the run.

Takes — pick a winner
3 takes for the active clip (9:16 cards, play + duration, VO markers, “new” dots) · picking expands the hero: playback, as-generated prompt, save-to-library, re-run · rail dots go green per pick, Deliver creeps closer.

AI re-plan
Before · confirm · after. The confirm spells out what’s preserved (picked / take-bearing clips) vs rebuilt, takes an optional instruction, and the after-rail shows the CTA split into two clips — durations rebalanced inside the 40s target.

What gets deleted. The Video Studio’s 5-stage shell (Brief & Script / Configuration / Clip planning / Per-clip work / Export) is replaced by this one floor — the script is a recap row (edited in the planner for social/ads origins, inline for manual), configuration inherits via the generation spec, clip planning is the seeded rail + AI re-plan, per-clip work is the workbench, export is the set bar.
