Each resource has its own mode toggle, seeded from your brand default: generate on-platform spins up an inline Higgsfield generator for just that asset, while prompt / DIY hands you a composed prompt to run externally (the arm for manual google-flow + BYOK voice). It is set per resource — flip any row independently.

Per-resource Generate resolves credentials via resolveMediaProviderKey (your Higgsfield connector) and spends a media credit. Only prompt compose / refine uses the platform text key — that path is free.
