Each slide, its own model
Carousel DraftingA carousel is an ordered set of single-image slides — flat images, no per-resource checklist. Each slide is now its own deep host of the shared media engine: it carries its own provider/model and its own refine history. The whole-carousel request spec.model only seeds each slide's initial pick — change one slide's model without touching the others.
What changed.
OLD — one whole-carousel Model Select governed every slide, and each slide had only a bare prompt Textarea.
NEW — the model Select is gone from the studio chrome; the per-slide engine panel now owns the provider/model, the composed prompt, the guide and a revertible refine history. Per slide, the GeneratePanel remounts with that slide's own snapshot — so two slides can run two different models in the same carousel.

Each slide carries its own model. The carousel's
spec.model = Nano Banana Pro seeds new slides; slide 2 has been overridden to Seedream 4.5.
Seed, not lock. When the storyboard was created, every slide inherited the whole-carousel
spec.model = Nano Banana Pro as its initial pick. From here each slide owns its provider/model — the picker below is the slide's, not the carousel's. Changing one slide never re-templates the others.
Each slide's compose / refine uses the free text path (your AI key / platform key) — never a media credit. Generate slide spends a media credit and resolves your Higgsfield connector via resolveMediaProviderKey, running the prompt pinned to that slide's snapshot on that slide's model.
